The St. Augustine Music Project

I'm very excited to announce that I've launched a new website: The St. Augustine Music Project. I've wanted to create something for this city's wonderful music scene for quite some time, and all it took was a particularly storm Sunday to finally push me to it.

Right now, the site exists as a calendar of events. In particular, it's an event calendar outside of the closed-wall world of Facebook/Instagram. I understand that it's very convenient to just create an event page rather than print flyers and spread awareness through word-of-mouth, but it makes me uncomfortable to think that all that information will disappear if Facebook closes.

STAMusic.org is an freely accessible website on the open internet. The code is open-source, using Roots' Bedrock custom WordPress boilerplate and the Bulma CSS framework. Check out more at the project's GitHub page.
